Live the Life You're Supposed To Live

What would it be like to be free?

What would it feel like to wake up in the morning clear-headed? To forget what hangovers even felt like? To never wonder what you did the night before or have to to hide how much you’re drinking from anyone ever again? What if in a year from now drinking alcohol was just something you used to do?

What Is It

What is sobriety school?

Tempest Sobriety School is an 8-week virtual course. Every day begins with a new thought or meditation to help you set your intention for the day. Weekly lectures are led by our founder, Holly Whitaker, and other subject matter experts to uncover how alcohol shows up in various aspects of your life. We host live Q+A calls and small breakout groups to help you digest and process the course materials. Throughout Tempest Sobriety School, you’ll have access to a private community where you can connect with others who are going through the course. Once you complete the school, you’ll have access to your course work, videos and resources on our digital platform for a full year.

This is not a detox or 12-step program, but it can work as either a complement or supplement to other programs and therapies or as a first step towards healing.

What would your life look like if alcohol never got in the way of your dreams again?

Why It Works

Sobriety School works. Here are 3 big reasons why.

  1. Knowledge is power

Over the course of 8 weeks, you’ll be exposed to a wide range of tools, teachings and practices pulled from various schools of thought and the most recent scientific findings in addiction recovery. Our program uses weekly lectures, accompanying workbooks and worksheets, daily emails, daily and weekly exercises and a vast resource library to share a foundational knowledge base for you.

  2. Community

There’s nothing like being in a community of people who understand what you’re going through. Tempest Sobriety School gives you access to a private online community where you’ll meet other students and be guided by mentors who have been where you are before.

  3. Small Steps = Big Change

This course isn't just about not drinking, it’s focused on helping you live your best life. We’ll be moving at a pace that allows you to make small, subtle shifts that add up to day-over-day, week-over-week and month-over-month change. Change is not made through extreme, painful, white-knuckle approaches. That’s not sustainable. Change is made over time.

Being in the Tempest Sobriety School shifted the way I viewed myself. I was taught that there is nothing wrong with me, and I could trust myself. Is there a more life-altering message?
